If you’ve ever signed up for an online dating platform, you’ve probably noticed there is usually a category where you are asked to select if you’re spiritual or religious. I’ve always chosen the former rather than the latter, not that I’ve been on many platforms.
Note: I’m currently in a relationship with a man I met on Match.com in 2004! I’m not sure I would ever do it again though. :-)
That ‘classification’ has always come with a sense of what seemed right for me (spiritual) and what seemed hard to believe or understand (religious)…until my late 30s where I started to see the overlap of those two things.
I’m exploring a lot of different ideas and philosophies right now and have noticed that I am more open now than I have ever been to new and fun ideas when it comes to what may or may not be ‘out there’ and perhaps more in charge than we think. I was just pondering this on my walk today and thought I’d share.
Let me know if you’ve found yourself more open as you have gotten older. I really want to know!
I offer you presence in all things. Thanks for being here…I appreciate you.

My personal philosophy…“I question therefore I am.”
I definitely think I’m more open as I grow. And I’m softer and less rigid and more accepting. And that comes from realizing how little of other people’s lives are my concern…we’re only given such small windows anyway.
