Being Present with Our Mental Inputs

What we feed our minds matters most
3

It’s so critical that we become aware of what we put in our minds on a daily basis. Maybe even hourly basis. Especially if what’s going on in the world tends to make you angry or depressed or otherwise upset in any way.

I know many people who let the news and other ‘awful goings-on’ literally dictate how they feel each day. This doesn’t seem wise or fruitful in my opinion.

Thankfully, I chose long ago, in my 30’s…to no be one of those and I invite you not to be as well. It’s a much nicer existence on this planet in my experience to be incredibly mindful of our mental inputs.

In this short little missive, I talk briefly about the importance of what we put in our minds, both first thing in the morning and last thing at night.

The following are thoughts and ideas that I’m currently putting into my mind every morning and night. I think of it as booting up my mind’s operating system for the day and evening.

After all, if WE don’t intentionally choose what goes into our minds to help them create the lives we want to live, then we’re at the effect of whatever comes our way. Personally, I want to be the driver of my own life. How about you?

I want to invite you to really look at how you start and end your day. Be very present with your intentions and create your inputs with purpose. You can use the ones above or create something else that works for you. I’d love to hear what you use to boot up your mind for the day and get it set up to work on at night while you sleep.

I offer you presence in all things. Thanks for being here…I appreciate you and always remember that our presence IS our biggest present!

Elisabeth…

My personal philosophy…“I question therefore I am.”
