Being Present with Our Integrity

You either have integrity or you don't. Period.

The subject of integrity has been on my mind lately…for many reasons. So many questions being unearthed from my psyche are begging to be answered through this lens of integrity.

…integrity to self.

…integrity to others.

…integrity to every living being on the earth.

…integrity to the earth itself.

The biggest question, however, appears to be, “Is there a way to always, 100% of the time, without falter or rationalizing or what iffing, be in integrity to these things?

I do believe that it is possible.

The second question, however, might be, ‘Are there times in our lives when we have to choose between surviving and being in integrity?”

I will tell you up front, I’m really not sure. I want to believe that there are humans whose integrity is rock solid but is it? If you look deep, are their fissures in what appears to be solid. I suspect there are.

The whole conversation of integrity relative to ethics is a fascinating one…not one I have ever begun to sort out intellectually, but I can tell you this…

“Without personal integrity, things fall apart!”

Things start to unravel in the darnedest ways. They show up and rub your face in every aspect of your lack of integrity…even when it was an innocent things you did or didn’t do, said or didn’t say, feel or didn’t fee, expressed or didn’t express.

I’m going to leave you with my musings in the recording and invitation for your own personal inquiry into the idea of integrity.

I wish you a day where your outer world feels congruent with your inner world. Sometimes mine does. Sometimes it doesn’t. You?

Here’s a beautiful photo of the meadow where I recorded this. It’s one of my favorite places to walk and I get there simply by going out my front door. I may have shared a different version of the meadow on a past article. Every time I visit it, it’s a wee bit different. I love that aspect of life.

I offer you presence in all things. Thanks for being here…I appreciate you and always remember that our presence IS our biggest present!

Elisabeth…

My personal philosophy…“I question therefore I am.”
